Where You're Going

Your New Happy Place

Parking

All free parking in front of the building. If you have an appointment that is after dark or will end after it is dark outside feel free to park on the side of the building this way I will be able to walk you out the side door and you will be directly at your car!

Arrival

Enter through the front doors of Mix Salon Studios, hang a quick right, then take the second hallway on your right. Follow the good hair vibes all the way to Suite 120 — Hayley Taylor Hair. I’ll be there waiting, scissors ready, magic activated ✂️

Clients Only

The small quant space is limited capacity which means that only guests who are receiving services will be allowed into the suite space during your appointment. A child or a person with special accommodations who are receiving a services may be accompanied by one parent, guardian, or caregiver.

What Your First Visit Will Feel Like

Booking & Friendly Reminders

Once you book your appointment online through my scheduling system (Vagaro), you’ll receive a confirmation via text and/or email—don’t forget to confirm so we’re officially on the books! You’ll also get reminder messages 48 hours before your appointment, which is the perfect time to make any changes or adjustments to your booking if needed. Easy, breezy, organized 

 

The In-Depth Consultation (aka Where the Magic Starts)

This is not a rush-in-and-sit-down situation. We’ll start with a thorough, relaxed consultation where I get to know you and your hair. I may ask lots of questions—and that’s a good thing! This is a completely judgment-free zone, so spill all the tea: past color adventures, box dye history, lifestyle, maintenance level, and your ultimate hair goals.

 

Show & Tell Encouraged 📸

Bring on the screenshots, Pinterest boards, saved Instagram posts—visuals are always welcome! 

Pro tip: showing me 1–2 photos of styles or colors you don’t want is just as helpful as showing me what you love. Knowing what to avoid helps us nail your perfect look.

 

What Else to Expect

• Clear communication about timing, pricing, and upkeep

• Honest professional guidance (I’ll always tell you what’s realistic for your hair)

• Plenty of photos taken along the way—only shared with your permission

Pre-Visit Prep

Dry Styled Hair

Whether you air dry or tease it to the heavens, I suggest coming to your first visit wearing your hair how you typically like to style it. Seeing your hair dry & styled helps me to choose the best techniques & looks that will enhance & fit your lifestyles.

Dress for Succcess

I want you to relax during your appointment, so please dress comfortably! To ensure your clothing remains dry and stain free, you may change in to the clean smock. If you choose to wear your clothing please avoid wearing bulky necklines like hooded sweatshirts & turtlenecks.

Payment Methods

All major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, & Cash are accepted.

Policies

Cancellation & Rescheduling

In order to provide the best possible scheduling options to all guests, 24 hours advance notice is required should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment with less than 24 hour notice, or failing to arrive to a scheduled appointment , will result in a cancellation fee equal to approximately 50% of the service price.

Late Arrivals

Services for clients running late will be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time without adjustment to pricing. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule and Cancellation Fees will apply.

 

Adjustments

I strive to offer my guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut & color, let me know within 7 days of your visit and I am happy to correct the issue at no additional charge

 

Retail Exchange

Should you make a retail purchase you are unsatisfied with, let's find something better for you! Exchanges at full credit are accepted as long as you notify me within 7 days of your initial purchase.

Hey, It's Me 

Hi, I’m Hayley Taylor—owner of Hayley Taylor Hair and your new go-to for all things gorgeous hair. I’ve been in the beauty industry for 27 years, with 23 of those spent behind the chair, perfecting color, extensions, and creating rich, dimensional looks. My passion? Happy, healthy hair—every step, every strand, every service.

 

When I’m not making hair dreams come true, you’ll probably find me on the sidelines cheering on my three kiddos as they dive into sports, adventures, and everything in between. Or in the yard playing with my giant fur babies!

 

I can’t wait to have you in my chair and guide you through your next hair journey—because great hair should feel just as amazing as it looks. 

Photo Moments

I love capturing before-and-after photos to show off the magic of your hair transformation—whether that includes your face or just the hair itself is totally up to you. Photos help me share my work on my socials, website, and occasionally my newsletter, but please know you are always welcome to say no—no pressure, ever. I’ll take plenty of photos during your service and, if I post any, I’m happy to send you exactly which ones I use if you’d like. Your comfort comes first, always!
